Research : Features Of A Music Video (Independent Work)

Use of the camera:

In all of the three different dance music videos above they all have lots of different cameras in use so that they can get the different angles. They all also have close-ups and extreme close-ups, however only one of the videos begins with a establishing shot.

Use Of Editing:

In all three of the music videos the editing was fast paced and had cuts to the beat which means that when the beat sounds then it cuts to another clip. However nae nae was  the only video to use transitions throughout.

Use Of Mise-en Scene:

In all three of the music videos all of the singers and dancers are all wearing make up and they are all wearing gold chains. "Uptown funk" and "give me your love" are both shot in what looks like the outskirts of New York. In all of the video's they all are shot in quite light lighting.
